It was an incredible experience to have been part of Season 1 of this iconic gastronomic TV show. This added a twist to my career and ultimately paved the way to my culinary journey. I was also very fortunate to be taken under the wing of the inspiring TV Chef Ralph Zacherl and Sous Chef Zdano (one of the most talented chefs I have ever met).
My Kitchen Rules
It was a thrill to pair up with celebrity TV Chef Mike Süsser and form the judging panel of this fun & dynamic TV cooking show. Critiquing a wide range of cuisines proved to be a real challenge and I particularly enjoyed the authenticity of the show and the participants. I also have a huge appreciation for the crew: Steffen Siebert, Nils and producer Rainer Laux.

Further down the road of my culinary path was one of the hardest yet most enriching experiences I have had in this gastronomic episode in my life. I would say you can never appreciate gastronomy until you work as a chef in a real kitchen. It is a completely different world to what the common perception of what a "chef" is. Working as a Head Chef showed me another world of toughness. From creating a menu to leading a kitchen crew, you really need to be sharp and know EVERYTHING in your kitchen. It was exhausting and emotionally draining but I learned a huge amount of priceless lessons thanks to my head chefs, colleagues and my mentor who supported me along the way.
